Reflection for Composition Project

The best shot of this assignment was the one I did with the dead plant. I love it because the way I edited made the plant more vibrant and it was like bringing the plant back to life once more. If I had to pick the weakest shot it would be the one with my LED lights, because I feel like it didn't convey anything at all. I don't think it could be improved with the way it is, but if I took the picture again I would take it from my floor so you can see all the lines of the lights. For editing I used photo shop and I used tools such as saturation levels, vibrancy, brightness, and hue levels. The easiest thing for this assignment was to bring out specific colors in a picture. The hardest thing was deciding what category each picture belonged in, because the description of each category had me confused and still does. One thing I would most definitely do differently is I would take more landscape pictures so I would have more to choose from. To be honest, my effort was about a seven, because I feel like I could've taken more pictures that would've made my project a lot better.

The difference between a snap shot and an artistic photo is that a snapshot is taken quick and haphazardly, an artistic photo is a photo that you take time to take and prepare for.
